Since 2007, one singing contest that has been creating history in the labor accommodations of UAE is Western Union Camp Ka Champ!

 

Now in its 17th year, the event continues to showcase and reward talent among the blue-collared community in the UAE. The auditions invited a mix of live, virtual and online entries, and over 2,000 entries were received to select the champ of camps, the organizers said on Wednesday. Over 25 companies, with 60-plus workers’ housing facilities, welcomed the organizers to conduct the auditions at their workers’ accommodations. 

 

Rupa Vinod, Managing Director, Right Track Advertising, the organizers of the contest, said: “We are so excited to host yet another season of camp ka champ!  Every year the labor community looks forward to participate & win fame and fortune!  The competition this year will be stiff with active participation expected from other Emirates too!
